01. Problem
The cost of a rushed V2: rebuilding trust in a broken ecosystem
The original platform (V1) had reached the end of its maintainability. To compensate, a V2 was rushed into development without the involvement of a Product Designer. The result was a clunky, buggy, and visually outdated interface that failed to deliver the intended user experience and lacked crucial features. This "failed" V2 presented a perfect opportunity to start fresh. We decided to rebuild the entire software from scratch, retaining only its core purpose: providing a real-time order management and production tracking system for packaging and labeling.

02. UX Strategy
Processes
The strategy was deeply rooted in collaborative problem-solving and mapping out the complex B2B logic before designing a single screen. Because the platform required strict bipartite and tripartite information flows, the process heavily relied on technical alignment.
The first step was isolating and defining the distinct journeys for all six user profiles (key account managers, admins, corporate clients, manufacturers, printshops, and the labcenter).
Logic flows & sequence diagrams
Working with the dev team, we mapped out functional logic and multi-layered request cycles to ensure strict permissions and real-time data synchronization for order statuses and rtp validations.

Structural prototyping
This technical alignment dictated the frontend architecture. Through iterative wireframing, i developed an accordion-style data table system to condense massive amounts of tracking data into a single, seamless view.
03. Visual Identity
Typography
Inter
Inter (Body Text & Subtitles): The workhorse of the UI. Inter was chosen for its exceptional legibility on screens, especially in dense data tables. Its well-proportioned tracking and tabular numbers are crucial for an interface where users need to scan complex tracking codes (like EANs), quantities, and dates without straining their eyes.

Aeonik (Main Titles): Used for top-level navigation and primary headings. Its geometric, structured, and contemporary feel immediately establishes the platform as a modern tech product, providing strong visual anchors across the interface.
Colours
We kept Etic Europe's core orange (#FFA300) for branding and priority actions. Statuses are instantly readable with semantic green (#59A735) and red (#E31313). A structured grayscale, from #1D1D1B text to #FAFAFA backgrounds and functional grays, ensures high contrast and reduces visual fatigue.

Logo
To anchor the platform within the broader company ecosystem, I adapted the primary Etic Europe logo. We retained the iconic brand mark but replaced the typography with "MyEticNet", creating a recognizable sub-brand that instantly communicates trust and technical continuity to our users.

04. Final product
Turning supply chain chaos into a seamless B2B ecosystem
While the core concept of the dashboard already existed, I fully redesigned it and led the product design for the entire surrounding ecosystem. The new platform encompasses a comprehensive suite of B2B tools:
A fully revamped Dashboard, a Ready-to-Print (RTP) validation center (manual and automatic), and a drag-and-drop Excel RTP upload system with instant file-check feedback.

Technical Ingenuity
A dedicated Store for fixed products (hangtags, boxes) and a complete Sampling module to manage sample creation and updates.
Logistics & Management
A "Days off" shared calendar for suppliers and printshops, an Estimator (Deviseur), Materials management, and a comprehensive Suppliers directory.

Global settings
An integrated Dictionary for platform-wide translations and a Statistics module for both internal and client-facing KPIs.
05. Impact
While quantitative metrics are currently being tracked for future evaluation, the qualitative leap has been immediate and significant. Feedback from both internal factory teams and external corporate clients highlights a drastically improved experience. The workflow is now fluid, the interface is pleasant to use, and users can navigate complex production data with ease compared to the friction-heavy V2.
06. Informations
This project has started early 2024 and is still going. I work in collaboration with our developers team, the product owner and our users such as the key account managers, the customers and the printshops.
